Right is wrong is an exhibition about standing for your beliefs and moving forward as a mutual collective because whether we win or lose in life it is always the courage to continue that counts”. In this exhibition, Maha presents a series of screen-prints that celebrate and document New Zealand’s Fight back against Capitalism. By revisiting and regenerating photographs taken at various protests and pickets over the last three years he effectively communicates a voice that needs to be heard.
Maha Tomo (Tainui, Ngai Tahu,Ngati Rangitane) is based in South Auckland and has completed a Bachelor’s degree of creative arts at the MIT faculty of creative arts he works as a Pounamu carver at Toimanawa.com and also works as a mental health support worker.
